NANNIE L. FREE, age 95, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:07 a.m. at her daughter-in-law's home in Springfield. She was born on May 9, 1918 in Hurricane, West Virginia to J. W. and Haddie Davis Clagg. She enjoyed crocheting, going to yard sales, working in her flower garden, bingo, reading and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Nannie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin Free, sons Wendell Free and John Lytle, daughter-in-law Marilyn Free and one granddaughter, one grandson and one great-grandson and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son Bob Free of Washington CH; her daughters-in-law Luane Free and Jacqueline Lytle; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
