Obituary

NORMA JEAN RAYPOLE, age 60, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at her home. Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on July 15, 1963 in Fayette County to the late Charles F. and Lois J. (Webb) Raypole. She was a 1981 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Norma was currently employed full time as a welder at Steven Steel Supply. She enjoyed crafting of all kinds, shopping, and trying out different restaurants.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her infant son, Corey Raypole.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Tracy Cox; nieces, Tracy (Joe) Bettle, and Stephenie Cox; great-nephews, Ethen Bettle, and Riley Bettle; aunts, Peg Jones, and Joy Burr; and uncle, Gerald (Sue) Raypole. Also surviving are numerous cousins and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Summers Funeral Home to help cover final expenses.
