OMA "MARIE" ELLARS SAXOUR, age 65, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 3:20 p.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on December 3, 1955 in Fayette County to James and Naomi (Kimmey) Ellars. She was a graduate of Southern State Community College where she obtained her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Marie retired from Carlton Manor after many years of service. She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, crafting, and being with her family.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Heather Renee Mills Gordon; and siblings, Connie Jean Jones, James Ellars, Jr., and Charles Cox.

Survivors include her son, David Joe (Jen) Mills; special nieces, Khloe Willett and Judy Ellars; grandchildren, Skylar Mills, Bryce Mills, and Benjamin Mills; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Sharon Downard. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
