OSCAR RAY GLASS, age 81, of Hilliard, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2:20 a.m. at Four Seasons of Washington Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He was born on August 20, 1936 in Fayette County to Harold and Helen Garringer Glass. He was a graduate of Washington High School. Oscar proudly served his country is the US Army. He owned and operated several car dealerships and later retired from Roadway Freight. He enjoyed wood-working, watching NASCAR and baseball.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Ruth Anna Williams, Mary Ellen Daugherty, and Helen Watson.

Survivors include his children, Craig (Debbie) Glass, and Keith (Tina) Glass; grandchildren, Amanda (Jamie) Miller, Ronald Tolle, Justin Glass, and Morgan Wyckoff; great-grandchildren, Gage Summers and Holly Miller; siblings, Carl Glass, Dessie Goble, Edith (Bob) Burgess, and Norma Jean (Harold) Harlan; his special friend and soul mate for 26 years, Mary Walker; and his extended family, Joanie (Don) Veri, David Walker, Camille, Gabby, and Cole Veri. Also surviving are several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Bill Myers officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
