PATRICIA MARIE "PATTY" MATSON, age 80, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

She was born on June 25, 1942 in New Holland, Ohio to the late Hershel and Mary Doris (Willis) Matson.

Patty is survived by her loving siblings, Sue Ann (Ronnie) Thomas, Joy Bennett, Betty Draise, and John (Melinda) Matson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ella Jean Wood, Hope Michael, Bill Matson, Skip Matson, Bob Matson, and infant brother, James Matson.

Patty enjoyed arts and crafts, music, signing, dancing, her favorite doll, Tilly, and spending time with her family and friends. She was also a client of Fayette Progressive Industries for over thirty years.

Even though Patty had special needs all of her life, she never let that stop her from living her best life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at the New Holland Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
