PATSY 'PAT' ADAMS, age 70, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 6:16 p.m. at her home. She was born on December 24, 1945 in Clay County, Kentucky to James and Helen Lunsford Holland. She was a charter member of the Bible Baptist Temple where she played the piano for more than 30 years. She also had taught Sunday School, was involved with the deaf ministry as well as various positions in the church. She enjoyed cooking, reading and working crossword puzzles. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William L. "Bill" Adams, brother Lannie Holland and sister Shelby Jackson. Survivors include her son Steve (Lisa) Adams; step-children Sandra (Orla) Uhrick, Harold (Betsy) Adams and Ruth (Rick) Davis; 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; nieces Stephanie (Ric) Johnson, Tammy (Joe) Lansaw, Jennifer Holland, Nicole Wells and Heather Earles; brother-in-law and pastor, Lyn (Phyllis) Jackson as well as numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Also surviving is her beloved canine companion, Bebe. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Temple with Rev. Andrew Johnson officiating. Friends may call at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at the Highlawn Cemetery.
