PAUL "JERRY" E. PENWELL, age 84, of Sabina, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He will be missed by his loving wife, Dianna J. (Salyer) Penwell of 60 years; his daughter and son-in-law, Deidra and Matthew Barbian; grandchildren, Nathaniel Barbian and Elizabeth Barbian; and his beloved dog, Gracie. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Ruth (Fout) Penwell and sixteen siblings.

Jerry was an avid card player, especially Euchre. He loved lottery tickets, movies, and sweets. He attended Trinity Full Gospel Church in Sabina where he enjoyed helping with the food bank.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH 43160, with Pastor Carey Hilterbran officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
