PEGGY DIANE PETTIT, age 57, of Washington CH, her journey ended on Saturday, October 10, 2015, shortly after arrival at the Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 24, 1958 in Ross County to Homer Nesser and Ethel Young Hinkley. She had attended the Bible Baptist Temple. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, flower arranging and spending time with her family. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald D. Pettit on August 29, 2015, grandparents Freddie and Maggie Nesser and Elisha and Maggie Young. Survivors include her father, Homer (Jeannie) Nesser of Indiana, her mother Ethel (Ralph) Hinkley; her children Crystal Jones (and Ronnie Hastings) and Gary Pettit (and Lisa Sluder); grandchildren Jodi Colley, Brigitte Jones, Alyssa Pettit and Brandon Hastings; step-grandchildren Zach, Taylor and Chase Sluder; siblings Patty D. Teagardner, Pamela D. Hannah and Bobby Nesser; nieces, nephews and cousins as well as her fuzzy little children, Teddy and Jersey. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Lyn Jackson officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery.
