RALPH C. "BUSTER" STRAHLER, age 78, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at his home.
He was born on July 21, 1944, in Washington County, Ohio to the late Ralph Leo and Eloise Evelyn (Beardsley) Strahler. Ralph was self-employed and built Silos for a living. He had attended Saint Benignus Catholic Church in Greenfield and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #14092. Ralph was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Saundra Sue (Knisley) Strahler, whom he married on February 15, 1964, and siblings, Tom Strahler, and Debra Jean Strahler.
Survivors include his children, William "Skip" (Judy) Strahler, Timothy "Bo" (Betty) Strahler, Kimberly Strahler, and Cindy (Floyd) Wrinkle; grandchildren, Amanda (Mike) Taylor, Serena (Derek Faris) Strahler, Eric Strahler, Ashley Strahler, Amy (Andrew) Wolffe, Andrea (Ross Lawson) Strahler, Cassie Strahler, and Brittany Wrinkle; great-grandchildren, Caleb Streitenberger, Kaitlyn (Jordan) Beechler, Keegan Williams, Allie Strahler, Alainee Wolffe, Aliya Wolffe, Keeton Kunka, Avery Wolffe, and Carter Kunka; great-great-grandchildren, Colt and Joey Beechler; siblings, Delbert (Debbie) Strahler, Rose (Tom) Bennington, Steve (Peg) Strahler, and Lorie (Allen) Johnson; and sister-in-law, Linda Strahler. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Fr. C.M. Haddad officiating with burial to follow at the Good Hope Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3-6:00 p.m.
