RALPH "MIKE" REISINGER, age 71, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 2:26 p.m. at his home. He was born on May 16, 1944 in Fayette County to Lee and Ruth Yerian Reisinger. He was a 1962 graduate of Miami Trace High School. He was a lifetime farmer, loved woodworking and his family said "he was a farmer by heart and a woodworker by choice". He was a member of the Good Hope United Methodist Church. He loved studying the Bible and also had taken theological classes online. Mike was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the OSU Buckeyes. He started collecting baseball cards in 1986. He was known as a very humble man, and was always helpful to others. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Beverly Dick. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Elaine Laffartha Reisinger, whom he married on March 11, 1994; his children Michael (Angie) Reisinger, Brad (Julie) Reisinger, Melissa (Riggs) Beers; step-children Donald (Cindy) Benson, Virginia "Ginny" (Jeff) Ferris, Clayton, Tom, and Lisa; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sister Linda Reisinger as well as nieces, nephews and a host of friends. In keeping with Mr. Reisinger's wishes, there will be no viewing or service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
