RANDALL DAVID "COWBOY" WAMSLEY, age 71, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 9:24 a.m. at his home.
He was born on November 29, 1946 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to Randall and Loretta Thomas Wamsley. He was a 1964 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and a 2004 graduate of Rets Tech Center in Centerville, Ohio. Randall and his son, Doug started their own business in 2005, Wamsley Heating & Cooling, LLC. He was a member of the Dragin' Angels Car Club, American Legion Post 25, and The Eagles of Fayette County. Randall was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed working on his 1967 Dodge Dart, playing cards, trying his luck with lottery tickets, and being with his family.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dale Wamsley; and brother-in-law, Keith Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon K. Mann Wamsley, whom he married on November 8, 1997; his children, Doug Wamsley, Jami Wamsley and her friend, Lincoln Gilbert, and Rob (Staci) Harper; grandchildren, Courtney (Trinten) Schaffer, Tyler Ream, Morgan Ream, Blake Wise, Makenzie Wise, Josh Harper, and Reagan Harper; great-grandson, Jacob Schaffer; siblings, Juanita (Jay) Sheridan, Mareia Hill, Sheila (Paul) Rollins, Tim (Linda) Wamsley, and Kay (Nick) Bostick; mother-in-law, Alma Mann; brother-in-law, Dean Mann; and his six beloved feline friends. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. The Eagles of Fayette County will hold a service prior to the start of the funeral.
