RANDY 'LUKE' LUCAS, age 60, of Mt. Sterling, was given earthly life on November 17, 1954 and passed away in his sleep at his home on Sunday, May 24, 2015. He enjoyed fishing and was a huge Buckeye and Browns fan. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Orpha Mae Carpenter Lucas and sister and brother-in-law Cathy and Steve Terrell. Survivors include his wife, Sue Stroup Lucas, whom he married on February 23, 1996; daughter Laura, and her husband Terry Lilly; grandchildren Ashlea and Aubrey; siblings Rick (Debbie) Lucas and Carol (Dale) Hall as well as nieces, nephews and close friend and adopted son, Robert Webb. He was loved by all of his family and many friends. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 226 N. Market St., Mt. Sterling, with Rev. Dortha Ross officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
