ROBERT STANLEY "BOBBY" MINNIX, age 74, of Dayton, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 7:08 p.m. at Miami Valley Hospital.

He was born on August 1, 1946 in Fayette County to Robert Samuel and Mary Katherine (Nuckols) Minnix. He was a graduate of Washington High School and was proud to be a Blue Lion. Bobby went on to proudly serve his country in the US Air Force where he worked in Aircraft Maintenance. He had been a member of the local VFW and American Legion. Bobby took pride in whatever he did; people knew him to be generous to a fault and abundant in friendship. He enjoyed traveling, playing games, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Mary Lou Jennings, and Eddie Workman.

Survivors include his children Timothy Minnix, and Amanda Jarrell; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers, Paul Chandler, John Workman, Joseph Workman, and Raymond Workman. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

The graveside service will be he held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating.
