ROBERT DWIGHT BRILL, SR., age 82, of Lima, Ohio, formerly of Jeffersonville, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Newark, Ohio.

He was born on June 4, 1941 in Madison County to the late Raymond and Zona Ellen (Clevenger) Brill. Robert retired from Mac Tools after many years of service. He enjoyed horses, watching old westerns, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Jack A. Brill; granddaughter, Destiny Brill; and brothers, Jack, Butch, Gabe, Harry, and Grubby Brill.

Survivors include his children, Robert D. Brill, Jr., and Rhonda Brill; grandchildren, Raymond Brill, Tacara Long, Moriah (Ben) Temple, Tiffany Smith, Mandy Brill, Robbie Rutherford, Jack (Ashley) Brill, Gabrielle Brill, and Joey (Jena) Brill; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Connie Farmer, Lug Brill, Grace Duncan, and Linda Bonham. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7:00 p.m.
