ROBERT BROCK HALL, age 85, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Cedarvale Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, where he had resided for only one day.
He was born on July 1, 1939 in Fayette County to the late Roland and Marie (Bodholt) Hall. He was a 1957 graduate of Washington High School. Robert worked as a dairy farmer, raising cattle for many years; he was also a bus driver for Miami Trace Schools for thirty-six years. He was active in several different clubs, including Fayette County Fish & Game Association, (NRA) National Rifle Association, Ohio Gun Collectors, (IHMSA) International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association, and the Happy Trails Riding Club. He enjoyed range shooting, raising cattle, spending time with his family and grandchildren, and had a love for horses.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Eric Hall, and brothers, Dick Hall, and Bill Hall.
Survivors include his children, Robert B., II (Renee) Hall, Wanda D. (Allen) Fultz, and Alex Hall; grandchildren, Amber Tigue, Stephanie (Nate) Warner, Carly (Christian) Hutchinson, Shawn (Angela) Hall, and Erica Hall; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Beckett, Charley, Gavin, Bryleigh, and Parker; daughter-in-law, Mary Hall; special niece and nephew, Mandy (Mike) Funkhouser, and Todd (Pam) Hall; and loving friend, Darlene Hall. Also surviving are several other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Darrin Sanderson officiating with burial to follow at the Walnut Creek Cemetery in New Martinsburg. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
