ROBERT "HOGGIE" J. SPEAKMAN, age 75, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 3:45 p.m. at his home. He was born on March 21, 1938 in Washington CH to the late Sherman and Myrtle Olivs Speakman. He had worked for Tempo Trucking for more than 30 years. He enjoyed playing cards, watching OSU football, loved trucking and enjoying life to its fullest. Survivors include his wife Diana Dewey Speakman, whom he married on December 15, 1983; daughters Lisa Kay (Timothy) Gaylord and Tracy (Chuck) Davis and step-sons Curtis and Chad Coonrod; grandchildren Tiffani and Brandi; two great-grandchildren; special friends Sharon Anthony, Carol (Bootie) Copas and Pastor John Pfeifer. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eagle's Lodge of Washington CH. We would like to extend a very special thank you to the Hospice of Fayette County.
