RONALD O. BROWN, JR., age 62, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at his home after battling cancer since 2020.

He was born on November 16, 1959 in Fayette County to the late Ronald O. and Rena K. (Beechler) Brown. He grew up in Bloomingburg but lived his adult life in Washington CH. He was a 1978 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Ron worked at Mac Tools until they closed and was currently employed at Apex Tool Group in Dayton, Ohio.

He loved his Dodge Challenger and enjoyed traveling. His favorite places were Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and Put-In-Bay, Ohio. He loved watching football. His favorite teams were The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Cleveland Browns.

He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and watched the team each time they took the field. He enjoyed cookouts, working outside in the yard, putting jigsaw puzzles together and spending time with his soulmate, Brenda, and their two cats.

Survivors include his loving companion of seven years, Brenda J. Arledge of Washington CH; his son, Aaron Scott Brown (Emily Gaines) and his granddaughter (Haley Gaines) of Washington CH; and his son, Nathan Wade Brown (Amanda Ansel) of Columbus.

Siblings, Kurt (Jackie) Brown of Washington CH; Mindy Bramel of Bloomingburg; Brent Brown of Washington CH; and Dorinda Oates of Bloomingburg.

His nephew, Jeremy "Jake" Brown of Washington CH; special cousins, June Sowers of Greenfield, Ohio and Kris Roll of Clayton, Ohio; and his cats, Bubba and Miss Piggy.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
