RONALD "RON" G. KNISLEY, age 77, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 12:36 p.m. at his home. He was born on January 23, 1938 in Fayette County to Reese and Melissa Ford Knisley. He had worked at Washington Aluminum Casting until they closed and retired from Halliday Lumber. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and cars. He also enjoyed meeting his friends at Our Place and McDonalds restaurants. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ethel Mick Knisley, seven brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his children, Angie (David) Shaeffer and Doug Binegar; grandchildren, Ryan Brown and his fiancé Amanda, and Jackie (Nick) Wilson, five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Leeah, Mallory, Emmalee and Charlee; brother, Floyd Knisley and sister, Pauline Todd, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special friend, Sharon Slager. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Twin Township Cemetery in Bourneville.
