RONNIE HAGER, age 71, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 8:27 p.m. at Mount Carmel East.

He was born on June 3, 1948 in Mingo County, West Virginia to Henry and Pauline Justice Hager. Ronnie proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He had worked as an auto-mechanic for many years and retired from Airborne in Wilmington. He enjoyed gardening, camping, flying his drone, photography, and being with his family and grandchildren.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Steve Hager, Michael Hager, and Patty Hager.

Survivors include his loving companion of thirty-eight years, Ruth Ann Redding; children, Joseph Hager, Jennifer Hager, Rebecca Hager, and James (Melissa) Redding; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Rita (Tim) Truxall, and Jerry (Vicki) Hager. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Clary officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow his services.
