Rosita Renee Cremeans VanDyke, age 62 of Washington Court House, passed away at 6:20 p.m. on October 13, 2021 at the James Cancer Center at The Ohio State University following a battle with cancer. Renee was born to Jerry Franklin Cremeans and Sadie Copas on July 5, 1959 at the Lockbourne Air Force Base in Columbus, Ohio.

Survivors include her two sons; Daniel Lee Vandyke and Benjamin Cody Everetts, her mother; Sadie Copas and two sisters; Deborah Schlichter of Worthington and Lisa Wilson of Minnesota. Renee was preceded in death by her father Jerry Cremeans and her stepfather Melvin Copas.

Renee was a 1977 graduate of Miami Trace High School. She worked and lived most of her life in Fayette County. She previously had worked at Save-A-Lot where she met and made many friends. Renee loved her flowers and could make anything grow.

In keeping with Renee's wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held. Burial of cremains will take place at the convenience of the family at Highlawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home.
