ROXA SUE QUEEN, age 63, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 3:07 a.m. at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born on November 1, 1958 in Fayette County to the late John and Rosemary (Brown) Dilley. She was a 1977 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Roxa was a stay-at-home wife and mother of two boys. She enjoyed going to yard/garage sales, sitting on her front porch, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Roxa was preceded in death by her son, Adam John Queen; and sisters, Victoria Dilley, Sonya Dilley, and Patsy Adams.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Frank J. Queen, whom she married on December 20, 1978; son, Nicholas Queen; grandchildren, Sidney and Jonny; brother, John Dilley; nephews, Jason Adams, and Joey Myers; and niece, Ashley Rohr. Also surviving are other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastors Kathy Yoakum and Jason Yoakum officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
