RUTH ELLEN MCMURRAY INGRAM, age 84, of Sequin, Texas, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016. She was born on March 12, 1931 in Rainsboro, Ohio to Vollie Ray and Mary Edith (Fletcher) McMurray. Ruth was full of life; she loved her family and so many of the people who came into her life, but her true passion, along with her family and friends, were her horses as she was an avid horseback rider. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Albert H. Ingram; son, Albert Jeffrey Ingram; her parents; sister Thelma Rhonemus; brothers Everett McMurray and John T. McMurray. Survivors include her daughters, Saundra (Lannie) Brown, Marilyn (Scott) Henry, Carolyn (Bill) Greene and Joyce (Ervin) Armstrong; grandchildren, Bradley Scot (Kim) Armstrong, Nicolas (Jasmine) Armstrong, Michael Patrick (Susan) Wood, Chellie Conrad (Scott) Beauchamp, Chris Conrad, Scott (Rebecca) Greene, Mikki Greene (Brandon) Lehr, Alex Ingram, and Cierra Ingram; step-children, Anthony Henry, and Denise (Brian) Lyssy; 21 great-grandchildren; sister Patricia (Steve) Cook; brothers Lee (Joyce) McMurray, and Gary McMurray, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Temple with Pastor Lyn Jackson officiating. A reception will follow at the Fellowship Hall.
