RUTH EVELYN PATRICK, age 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2026 at St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington CH.

She was born on February 13, 1932 in Madison County to the late Roy and Neda (Pyles) Stires.

Ruth worked for G.C. Murphy in Washington CH for fifteen years. She and her late husband, Stoney, were faithful members at the First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed attending church, working in her flower garden, and she loved having her hair done!

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stoney B. Patrick, whom she married on July 1, 1967, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her nephew and his wife, Lester and Nancy Lemaster.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery with Pastor Deana Dupler officiating.
