SAMUEL "SAM" H. WASSON, age 61, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 8:03 p.m. at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was born on May 24, 1955 in Fayette County to Norva Jr. and Betty Stroup Wasson. He had worked at Marting Manufacturing for over 20 years, also at several nursing facilities and was the supervisor at the rest area at 35 and 71. Sam had attended the Agape Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and his special canine friend, Susie. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Essie Wasson. Survivors include his sister, Roseanne Seitz; niece, Kelley (Tony) Winn; nephew, Larry Seitz; uncle Sammy H. Wasson and special friend, Danny Buck. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Dr. David Evans officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family at the Greenlawn Cemetery of Frankfort.
