SHARON LYNNE (FREELAND) SEITZ, age 77, of Sabina, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at her home.
She was born on April 15, 1945 at her home in Lees Creek, Ohio on Larrick Road, the only daughter to the late Vincent Eugene and Martha Elizabeth (Rolison) Freeland. Sharon was a member at the Sabina Church of Christ; she participated nine years in 4H and worked as a camp counselor. Sharon was also a member of the Clinton County 4H Board and won multiple awards for best flower and vegetable gardens, cooking, and her sewing projects.
Sharon graduated in 1963 from Sabina High School and attended The Ohio State University and Wilmington College. She worked as a substitute teacher for grades K-8th grade in Fayette and Clinton Counties. Sharon also worked as an Avon Representative and a waitress at Frosty Freeze in Sabina, Frisch's Big Boy and the P&G Restaurant, both in Wilmington. She worked as a clerk at the Greene County Department of Human Resources.
Sharon was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed skilled gaming establishments.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her child, Carroll Gene Michael; her second husband, James Michael Seitz; and first cousin, Glen "Jackie" Valerio.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Corinne (Jared Friend) Michael; granddaughter, Michaela Nicole "Kala" Robinson; grandson, Jeffrey Michael Vincent Rennekamp (J.J.); cousins, Roger (Cherry) Reveal, Richard (Maggie) Reveal, Ronald (Pam) Reveal, April Valerio Carroll, and Joe (Tina) Valerio.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
In keeping with her wishes, a private burial will take place at the Centerville Cemetery in Lees Creek, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
