SHARON ROSE GROOMS, age 74, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

She was born on May 8, 1949 in Stanton, Kentucky to the late Junior Clay and Juanita Kay (Kirkpatrick) Frazier. She was a graduate of Nettie Lee Roth High School in Dayton, Ohio. Sharon was self-employed in the cleaning business for many years in the local area. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her siblings, Sue Flinchum, Allen Frazier, Walter "Walt" Frazier, and Diana Werts.

Survivors include her husband, Russell Grooms; her children, Michelle R. (Sam) Johnson, and Branden R. Grooms; grandchildren, Makenna (Alex) Leis, Madison Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Cody Johnson, Joel Johnson, Joey Johnson, Caydence McClendon, Brianna Grooms, and Jackson Grooms; great-grandchildren, Decklan Leis, Grayson Leis, Cairo Darbyshire, and Ora Ventura; and siblings, Sherri Frazier, Debora Frazier, and Jeff Frazier. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
