SHARON ELAINE HILL, age 76, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

She was born on October 22, 1949 in Greenfield, Ohio to the late William Howard and Donna Jean (Byers) Burns. She was a graduate of Washington High School. Sharon retired from Fayette County Memorial Hospital where she had worked in housekeeping. She enjoyed going on vacation with her friends, spending time with her family, and she loved animals!

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved son, Bartt Curtis, and her forever faithful canine companion, Lilly.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Edwin Hill; her son and daughter-in-law, Brett (Tonya) Curtis; grandchildren, Madison Curtis, Hannah Curtis, and Kalee Curtis; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Aiden, Avereigh, and Rowan; and siblings, Scott (Marty) Burns, and Joy (Jim) McIntosh. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Jim McIntosh officiating with burial to follow at the White Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
