SHARON ROSETTA (LEETH) MAYNARD, age 84, passed away on peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Copper Knoll Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on November 22, 1941 in Washington CH to the late Larry J. and Laura L. (Wilson) Leeth.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Tom “Pat” Maynard, whom she married on June 22, 1960; mother and father-in-law, Edra and Thomas Pat Maynard; and sister, Emma Joyce Cox.

She is survived by her son, Todd (Sue) Maynard of Washington CH, whom with the help of his wife and two children dedicated their life mission to ensure Sharon was well taken care of. Also surviving is her son, Rodney Maynard; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jimmy Albert) Maynard of Columbus, Todd “TJ” Maynard of Washington CH, and Lorelai Piatt of Greenfield; sister, Meda “June” Butcher of Washington CH; sister and brother-in-law, Judy (Jim) Levernier of Washington CH; special friend, Connie Thompson; and special granddaughter, Leigha Albert. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Copper Knoll for the amazing care they provided over the last ten years.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Thompson officiating with burial to follow at the Waterloo Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
