SHARON KAY MINSHALL, age 70, of Washington CH, passed away from this life on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 9:17 p.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on June 5, 1950 in Greene County to Ira Gilbert and Frances Irene Wilson Stoops. She was a graduate of Miami Trace High School. Sharon retired as store manager from the IZOD Outlet at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Jeffersonville. She enjoyed her pool, being with her friends at American Legion Post 25 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Sycamore St. and also loved being with her family and grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Irvin Stoops, and Richard Stoops.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Robert E. Minshall, whom she married on December 6, 1968; children, Stacey Kay (David) Murphy, and Robert Todd (Amy) Minshall; grandchildren, Lane Jacob (Brooke) Fredendall, Kayla Elizabeth Fredendall, Nathan Robert Minshall, and Avery Kathryn Minshall; great-grandchildren, Gage Alan Jacob Fredendall, and Colt Aaron Lane Fredendall; and siblings, Kathryn Jamieson, and Frank Stoops. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
