SHERRY LYNN CARMEN, age 52, of Bloomingburg, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at her home. Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on July 12, 1971 in Fayette County to the late Clifford Eugene and Linda Sue (Newton) Carmen. Sherry and her family lived in Florida for many years before returning to Fayette County. She had worked as a nursing assistant for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mother to her three children. Sherry enjoyed hanging out with her friends at Demented Bar & Grill, playing games on her phone, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her son, Bryce C.W. Carmen.

Survivors include her children, Brett C.W. Carmen and Shana Lyons, and Brandon C.W. (Ciarra) Carmen; grandchildren, Lily Gene Carmen, Brayden Eugene Carmen, and William C.W. Carmen; siblings, Wayne (Crystal) Carmen, and Lori Bennett; special niece, Jackie Bennett; nephew, Wayne Bennett; and great niece, Harper Bennett. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.

A viewing will be held on Sunday afternoon, October 22, 2023, from 3-5:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home.
