SHIRLEY ANN BETHEL, age 63, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at her home. She was born on August 20, 1953 in Fayette County to Oscar Sr. and Mildred McNeil McKinney. She had worked at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in Chillicothe. She enjoyed cross stitching, flowers, and her loving canine companions, Casey and Zoey. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Hippy McKinney; and one sister, Joyce Pierce. Survivors include her children, Jeremy (Kristina) Bethel, and Shierra ( Jeremy) Taylor; grandchildren, Brooklyn and James Bethel; siblings, Vickie (Dan) Sheets, Rick McKinney, Robin McKinney (Ron Forsha), Oscar Jr. (Val) McKinney, Lisa Ellerbee, and Sharon (Garry) Watson, as well as special friend, Ron Dawson. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with John Pfeifer officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Burial will take place at the Highlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
