SHIRLEY TARBILL, age 96, of New Holland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at her home.

She was born on March 21, 1930 in Putnam County, Ohio to the late John Amos and Ruth Casilda (Netteburg) Bogart.

Shirley was born to be a nurse! She was a graduate of The Ohio State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing in 1952. She was married to her late husband, Dean, during his final year of veterinary medicine school. Shirley assisted her husband in his veterinary clinic for many years. Shirley was a wonderful person! She loved gospel music and the Bill Gaither Vocal Band was one of her favorites.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Tarbill; her son, Timothy Tarbill; and brother, Bill Bogart.

Survivors include her daughter, Tami Tarbill Ludwick; grandson, Corey Ludwick; great-granddaughter, Isla Ludwick; and her sister, Barbara Ann (Bob) Hollmann. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Holland Cemetery.
