STEVEN E. MCMANUS, age 22, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Soin Medical Center. He was born on February 27, 1992 in Fitchburg, MA. He was a 2010 Washington High School graduate and was employed by Halliday Lumber. He was a member of the South Side Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, soccer and baseball. He loved spending time with his family and especially his son, Keegan. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Judy and John Helton; his son Keegan McManus; grandmothers Elaine Moody, affectionately known as "MeMe" and Alice Jones; aunts and uncles Susie, Mick, Tom, John, JoAnn and Sandy as well as several cousins and a host of friends. Also surviving are his beloved cats, Coco and Cheeta and his dog, Maddie. The memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the South Side Church of Christ with Danny Dodds and David Plumley officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. There will be a meal to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
