SUELLEN LOWE, age 78, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026 at St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington CH.

She was born on March 12, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Gerald Franklin and Bertha Louise (Bruce) Crawford. She attended Washington High School and later obtained her GED from Clark State. SuEllen worked at Saint-Gobain Calmar, Inc., and Post Net. She attended church at the Bible Baptist Temple until her health would no longer allow. She enjoyed crocheting, gambling, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, SuEllen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Edward Lowe, whom she married in April of 1964; brother-in-law, Sam Grooms; and sister-in-law, Francis Crawford.

Survivors include her daughter, Julie (Michael) Carter; grandsons, Nathan (MyKalley) Carter, and Brock (Destanie) Carter; great-grandchildren, Gentry, Lainey, and Mercy Carter; siblings, Jerry Crawford, Shirley Grooms, and Rozland (John) Creed; and special friends, Eileen Ary, and Vikki Havens. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
