SUSAN COY-HELPHINSTINE, age 51, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 6, 1964 in Washington CH to the late Arthur E. "Gene" and Inez Lorraine Davis Coy. She was a 1982 Washington High School graduate. She had worked as an associate at Walmart in Wilmington for more than 25 years. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Tammy Coy, niece Jessica (Jeff) Funari, several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as special friend, Joe Kirsch. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. DeVon Davis officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery.
