TAMI SUE SMITH, age 58, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11:56 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 28, 1958 in Fayette County to the late William and Barbara Stookey Redman. Tami was a 1976 graduate of Miami Trace High School and had also attended Southern State Community College. She was most recently employed by Tigerpoly Manufacturing in Grove City. She enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Sheridan Smith, whom she married on July 28, 1978; her children, Jeremy (Brandy) Smith, and Ashley Smith; grandchildren, Parker Smith, and Madison West; brothers, Tony Redman, and Jack Redman; and niece, Brandi Dalton; also surviving is her loving canine companion, Jadi.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
