TAMMY SUE EXLINE, age 60, of The Woodlands, Texas, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at her home.

She was born on March 18, 1966 in Washington CH to David and Sherrie (Lytle) Exline. She was a graduate of Washington High School and attended Hocking College where she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing. Tammy began her nursing career at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and from there she traveled to many different states as a travel nurse.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, David Exline; grandparents, Clarence and Lillie Lytle, and John and Martha Exline; and uncles, Larry Exline, and David Exline.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Sherrie and Leonard Verdine; brothers, David (Tammy) Exline, and Richard (Leslie) Exline; her best friends and their children, Chris and Lori Roach, and Autumn, Levi, and Austin Roach, all of Conroe, Texas. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Good Hope Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
