TANA DENISE ORTHMEYER, age 62, of Washington CH, went to meet her Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born on January 27, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Orley and Phyllis Ann Vance Varney. Tana was a stay-at-home mother to her daughter Melinda "Mendy". She was a 1971 Miami Trace High School graduate. She was a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church where she had attended for 60 years. Survivors include her daughter, Mendy; sisters Diane (Mike) Inskeep and Linda Hays all of Washington CH; nieces and nephews Scott (Jami) Inskeep of Wilmington, Shane (Laura) Inskeep of North Carolina, Ashley (Jamie) Potter and Nathaniel Hays both of Washington CH; several great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial service will be held on MONDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 301 E. East St. in Washington CH, with Pastor Joe Current officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Ave., Washington CH, OH 43160.
