TERRY LEE FARMER, age 59, of Washington CH, formerly a resident of Jeffersonville, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 3:45 a.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1956 in Fayette County to Malcolm "Bill" and Helen Shepherd Farmer. He was a 1974 Miami Trace graduate. He retired from Big Bear warehouse in Columbus after twenty-five years of service. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Farmer, his step-father, Chester Mitchell, brothers, Billy and Danny Farmer, and sister Denise Farmer Clawson. He is survived by his mother, Helen Mitchell of Jeffersonville, three sisters, Linda (Tom) Strahler of Washington CH, Brenda (Curt) Cordy of Texas, and Nancy (John) Pottle of Washington CH, sister-in-law, Tina Farmer of Sunbury, Ohio, as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Mell Wickensimer officiating.
