THOMAS G. MORRIS, age 50, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:25 p.m. at his home.

He was born on October 15, 1967 in Fayette County to Robert and Joanne Willhite Morris of Leesburg. He was a graduate of Miami Trace. Thomas proudly served his country in the US Navy. He had worked as a truck driver for many years prior to the start of his battle with cancer. Thomas was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed playing cards, vacationing in Florida, cooking, and being with his family.

Survivors include his parents; his loving wife, Elizabeth Marie Shaw Morris, whom he married on September 11, 2004; children, Andrew Shaw, and Amanda (Nate) Scarbury; grandchildren, Carter Shaw, and Emmett and Colt Scarbury; brothers, Dan Morris of Staunton, and George (Stacy) Morris of Greenfield; nieces, Sue Morris, and Kaylee (Matt) Crawford; nephew, Josh Mullins; special aunt, MaryAnn Summers; and his loving canine companion, Harlee.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 3762, 335 Veterans Way, Washington CH, OH 43160. In keeping with Mr. Morris's wishes, cremation has taken place.
