VALERIE ANN (LANDRUM) JORDAN, age 74, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her home.

She was born on April 29, 1949 in Franklin County to the late Charles Edward and Norma Jean (Williams) Landrum. She was a 1967 graduate of Miami Trace High School and lived most of her life in the area. Valerie was a homemaker but also worked for ten years at McKesson and nine years at MWV Calmar as a quality control inspector. She was a faithful member at The Gathering Place Church when her health would allow. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, spoiling her grandchildren, and watching Christmas movies with Shana, her daughter-in-law and caregiver of four years.

In addition to her parents, Valerie was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Edward Landrum.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, William Richard "Bill" Jordan, whom she married on December 6, 1975; her children, Doug (Toni) Speakman, Jeff Speakman, Billy (Shana) Jordan; grandchildren, Garrett Speakman, Benjamin Speakman, Charlie Speakman, Sydney Speakman and her fiancé, Jordan Fraley, and Zach Jordan; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Baker, Trentin, Zach, and Marleigh; siblings, Cindy Miller, Pam (Jeff) Kersey, and Kevin (Cheryl) Landrum; and sister-in-law, Theresa L. Landrum. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the New Holland Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
