VICKI LYNN HUNT, age 72, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

She was born on August 30, 1954 in Washington CH to the late Kenneth M. and Connie L. (Redman) Payton. She attended Miami Trace High School. Vicki worked as a personal caregiver for most of her life. She enjoyed decorating her home, girls’ night with her friends, and visiting Gatlinburg.

In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rick Hunt; granddaughter, Ella Grace Puckett; and brothers, Donald Payton, and Thomas Payton.

Survivors include her children, Troy (Angel) Payton, Stacie (Paul) Moore, Nicole Rodriguez, Shane Hunt, Terra (Nick) Dresch, and Shannon Hunt; grandchildren, Natalie, Preston, Emily, Remington, Lawson, Cierra, Robbie, Trenton, Casyn, Denver, Weston, Jackson, Gralyn, Lariea, Kloie, Chesneigh, Chase, Leo, and Evelyn; great-grandson, Draden Palmer-Leach; and siblings, Kenneth Payton, Rosemary Cottrell, Randy Payton, and Gary Payton. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026 at the Summers Funeral Home from 10-12:00 p.m.
