VIRGIL GARLAND MARTIN, IV, 14 months old, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 12:10 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on March 14, 2014 in Dayton to Virgil G. Martin III and Jessica Allen. Virgil is survived by his parents, sister Angel Martin, half-sister Lauren Martin and half-brother Branson Cooper; grandparents Virgil Jr. and Ruby Martin, Julie Allen and her friend Steve Wilson, also known as "Pappy", George Allen; great-grandmother Bernadine Allen; aunts and uncles Johny (Kelly) Schreckengaust, Rodney (Tonya) Howe, Deana Allen and Josh (Tiffany) Allen as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Laura Etta and Virgil Martin Sr., Fred and Bessie Howe, George Allen, Mary and Robert Jackson, aunt Laura Jean Martin and uncle George Allen Jr. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Temple, 4361 SR 41 NW, Washington CH, with Pastor Andrew Johnson officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First State Bank of Washington CH, in memory of little Virgil, to help with final expenses.
