VIRGINIA LEE "GINNY" DUNN, age 91, of Washington CH, passed away from this life on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 9:58 a.m. at Carriage Court of Washington CH.

She was born on November 16, 1930 in Westerville, Ohio to the late William R. and Bernice (Williamson) Crowe. Ginny was able to stay home and raise her daughter. She was a member at the Fayette Commission on Aging on Elm Street. Ginny was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with her friends, and spending time with her family.

Ginny was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Dunn; and siblings, Ted Crowe, and Gloria Jenkins.

Survivors include her daughter, Melody J. Shipley and her significant other, Peter Koomjian; grandchildren, Jennifer L. (Shawn) Banker, and Erin L. (Ray Huffman) Shipley; sisters-in-law, Arlene Crowe, and Mary Wilson; and special nieces, JoLynn Phillips, and Lynn Withem. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bloomingburg Cemetery with Shawn Banker and Chaplain Jeff Davis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Ohio's Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Ave., Washington CH, OH 43160.
