VIRGINIA F. "JENNY" FOUNTAIN, age 98, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026 at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington CH.

She was born on September 22, 1927 in Athens, Ohio to the late Guy L. and Thema L. "Lucille" (Carsey) Brooks. She was a graduate of Greenfield McClain High School. Jenny retired from Grange Insurance in Columbus. She was a faithful member at the Madison Mills United Methodist Church, and she also attended The Gathering Place. She enjoyed puzzle books, reading, quilting, spending time in the Amish Country and Tennessee, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kenneth Fountain; sons, Gary Fountain, and John Tussey; and her four siblings.

Survivors include her daughter's Dee (Ron Dawson) Tussey, and Debbie Allen; grandchildren, Amy (Mike) Sheerin, Heather (Joe) Camp, Rob (Cassie) Tussey, and Emily (Joe) Latona; great-grandchildren, Logan, Kennedy, Jackson, Raegan, Joel, Willow, Addie, Rylie, Jacob, and Benny; niece, Judy Lynn Fountain; nephews, Terry (Kim) French, and John Hope; and special friends, Heidi Phipps, Linda Johnson, and Tony Moore.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Madison Mills Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m.
