WANDA L. COPAS, age 64, of Washington CH, age 64, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 5:35 p.m. her home. She was born on December 11, 1950 in Paintsville, Kentucky to Henry and Rousahie Caudell Tackett. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing blankets and quilts, word puzzles, cooking and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Crete Copas and brothers Mance, Virgil, Richard, George, Jack and Kermert Tackett. Survivors include her children Lucinda Hart, Wayne Copas and Jacob Hays; grandchildren Kali, Cassy, Chelsea, Shawna, Jacob Jr. and Kaylynn; great-grandchild Elizabeth; siblings Emory "Emmy" (Virginia) Tackett, William (Pat) Tackett, Kemmard (Marlene) Tackett, James "Ollie" (Vickie) Tackett and Brenda (George) Burlile as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Phil Webb officiating.
