Obituary

WILLIAM B. "BILL" SEYFANG, age 93, of Leesburg, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 12:20 p.m. at his home surrounded by the family he loved so deeply.

He was born March 1, 1929 in Fayette County to Frank and Martha (Coulter) Seyfang.

Bill met the love of his life, Juanita DeWeese, on May 30, 1946 while they were both walking down Millikan Avenue in Washington CH, Ohio. They were married on May 24, 1947 and celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary this year.  The two of them have been inseparable all these years.

Bill has been so thankful for his beautiful wife and family.  Daughter, Patricia (Doug) Mueller and Son, William F. "Woody" and (Teresa) Seyfang.  Grandchildren blessings: Four grandchildren: Derek (Heather) Seyfang, Beth (Mike) Campbell, Michelle (Jason) Crawford, Tracey (Tim) Burke.  Eleven Great Grandchildren:  Gabe Seyfang, Coby Seyfang, Kenzie Seyfang, Emma Seyfang, Elijah Campbell, Addison Campbell, Hannah Campbell, Reilly Campbell, Aidan Burke, Erin Burke, Henry Crawford. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Frank Leroy Seyfang, Walter Seyfang, Archie (Wayne) Seyfang, Mary Alice Smith, Thurman Joseph (Joe) Seyfang, and Floyd Seyfang.

Bill and Juanita have always found great joy in serving the Lord.  He was a faithful member of Grace Community Church where he greeted, cleaned, ushered, counted the congregation and whatever needed to be done.  He has been loved by many friends and his Grace Family.  Whenever he was asked how he was, his response was always, "Fantastic!!"

Bill was a lifelong woodworker for 70+ years.  He worked at Coffman's Staircase, Colonial Staircase, and Bell Dor-lite and spent the last 30 years of his working life building the family business, BWD Woodwork.  When he retired, he never quit thinking of and following through with woodworking projects with Juanita happily working by his side. Until late October of this fall he was still doing his favorite thing - mowing their lawn.  In his spare time he loved listening to Southern Gospel music.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 525 Glenn Ave., Washington CH, OH 43160, with Pastor Jay Lucas and Pastor Paul Crichton officiating with burial to follow at the Cochran Cemetery.
