WILLIAM DAVID 'PAPPY' WEBB SR., age 74, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was born on November 7, 1941 in Fort Gay, West Virginia to Carm and Inez Webb. He had worked as a welder, retiring from CMP in Mansfield. He attended the Mansfield Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing spoons, country music, bluegrass, birds and spending time with his son and grandchildren. Pappy was preceded in death by his parents as well as nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include his son William "Bill" (Shannan) Webb Jr.; grandchildren William III, Dusty, Dustin, Devvin, Shiann, Victoria, Veronica and Dakota; great-grandchildren Brayden, Serenity, Jacob Jr., Jaxxten, Caselyn, Raylen and Caden; sister Maggie Hamm as well as the love of his life, Vicki. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Sugar Creek Baptist Cemetery with Steve Merritt officiating. Friends may call at the Summers Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 to 1 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Summers Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
