WILLIAM "BILL" SHERMAN JONES, age 62, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his home.

He was born on August 30, 1955 in Ross County to Charles and Kathleen Thacker Jones. He was a 1973 graduate of Adena High School. Bill had been employed at Mac-Tools for twenty-two years until they closed. He enjoyed Die Cast Cars, the Cleveland Browns, fishing, and being with his family and grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, John Jones, Rosemary Mossbarger, Dorothy Jones, Shirley Cozad, and Roger "Sam" Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Cotner Jones, whom he married on December 31, 1975; his children, Jomi (Scott) Lynch, Tom Jones, and Nick Jones; grandchildren, Robie and Ashton Cox, and Austyn Jones; and siblings, Charles "Bo" Jones, Thomas "Butch" Jones, David "Mouse" (Gayle) Jones, and Ruth Evans. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4-8:00 p.m.
