WINIFRED ROSE "WINNIE" GREGORY, age 90, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her daughter's home in Pataskala, Ohio.
She was born on July 10, 1934 in Washington CH to the late Leonard and Dorothy (Stewardson) Dellinger. She was a graduate of Washington High School. Winnie was a homemaker and was also involved in several different clubs including the Fayette County Garden Club, Sunshine Club, Bingo Club, served on City Council in Octa, Ohio, she played Euchre at the Senior Citizens Center on Delaware St., and was also a fifty-plus year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She faithfully attended the First Presbyterian Church in Jamestown. She enjoyed traveling, boating, going to the beach, spending time with her family and friends, and was a beloved cat lover.
In addition to her parents, Winnie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Oren Gregory, whom she married on November 28, 1977; sons-in-law, Don Havens, and Bob Bond; her special friend of thirty years, Lee Moore; and siblings, William Dellinger, and Jack Dellinger.
Survivors include her daughters, Patti Havens, Nola Humphrey, and Cathy Bond; grandchildren, Tim (Stacy) Havens, Adam Havens, Rich (Shawnda) Burson, Chuck (Anna) Burson, Chris (Krista) Burson, David Morris, Cathy (Edward) Shell, and Amber (Jason) Hammond; great-grandchildren, Fletcher, Addison, Willow, Sicily, Zach, Jordan, Justin, Norah, Jennah, Dayeelyn, Emily, Kaylie, and Leah; and sister, Carol Wilson.
Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. R. Michael Helling officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
